Our Angels
Crimson Kennels is located just outside Florence, Alabama. Labradors are our passion and addiction. We breed our Labs to be great hunters and wonderful pets. They are raised in a loving environment with the best of facilities.
PRECIOUS PENNY BRYANT
Holloway's Maxwell Sergent X Sister Margaret
DOB: October 1, 1999
OFA: N/A
If Toby is our “Founding Father”, Penny was the Mother of the Kennel. Precious she definitely was. She was the third Lab to arrive at the farm, and was the first Yellow Lab we owned. Penny was born to be a Brood Bitch. She seemed happiest when nursing her babies. She was an extraordinary mom, and raised two beautiful litters of chocolate puppies with Toby as the dad. Penny loved being inside, curled up on the couch, and was a very loving Lab. We jokingly called her our “Fireplace Dog”. The same accident that took Jessy’s back leg took our Precious Penny’s life. She is buried in the Crimson Cemetery here on the farm. She was an AKC Registered Yellow Lab, and not quite 3 years old when she died on January 14, 2002.
KELSEY KARMEN BRYANT
Talley's Big Brown Buck X Miss Maddie Marmalade
DOB: May 17, 2002
OFA: N/A
Kelsey was only with us a few short weeks before she died. She was a grand-daughter of Toby and Penny. She was a CKC Registered Chocolate Lab, and just a few months old when she died on July 24, 2002. She is buried with Penny in the Crimson Cemetery.
MOLLY MADISON BRYANT
Nikki's Spice X Kyle's Cocoa
DOB: April 7, 1999
OFA: N/A
We are so sad to have to add our "Molly Dog" to this page. Molly was diagnosed with Lymphoma on October 28, 2006. We had a good 6 weeks with her after that visit to the vet. We spent lots of quality time with her, and enjoyed her thumping tail on the floor, and her steady breathing when we went to bed at night. We were so hoping that she would make it through the Chrimtmas holiday, but it just wasn't meant to be. Our Molly Dog, as we lovingly called her, passed away on December 15, 2006. She may be gone from this world, but she will forever be in our hearts.
Molly was lovingly called our “Resident Horse.” At 105 pounds, she definitely was the biggest of our Crimson Kids. She was the second Lab to arrive at the Crimson Kennel Farm. Molly never produced a litter of puppies, but was surrogate mother to all the litters we had during her life. She liked to give the Birth Mother a break by watching out for all the little ones for a while. Molly liked to fetch just like all our other kids, but she was also the smart one. She learned early on when it was just her and Toby to let him run and get the ball, and to meet him halfway back and steal it!
This picture of Molly was taken just weeks before we lost her.

COAKER
QUICK WHEELS HERBIE, MH X CRIMSON'S SCRAPPIN' ALLEY CAT
DOB: October 18, 2007
OFA: N/A
Coaker was born at 5:08 PM and weighed 11.5 ounces. She is named after her grandmother, Gore Creek's Coaker Smoker.
Little Coaker was an absolute little snuggle bunny. She got a bacterial infection when she was 5 weeks old, and was never able to get over it. We did everything we could, but unfortunately we lost her when she was 6 weeks old. This was so hard for us because we have never lost a puppy this old. We have shed many tears over this, and wondered if there was anything we could have done different to save her.
